Theland Kicknosway is Potawatami and Cree, and a member of the Wolf Clan. Theland is an internationally recognized traditional singer, drummer, dancer, and social media influencer. As a member of Walpole Island and Bkejwanong Territory, Theland uses his voice to spread his message and showcase Indigenous culture. At just 19 years old, he is an activist, role model, and educator who weaves his culture into all that he does. In 2018, Theland became the youngest Indspire Laureate named for Culture, Heritage and Spirituality. His path-breaking efforts have also been highlighted by Nike, Disney, the BBC, Teen Vogue, Entertainment Tonight, and Complex.
