Celebrate Prismatic 2024’s Official Date Launch! Featuring performances by Mi’kmaq artists Jeff Ward and Denise John.

Referred to as Mi’kmaq Knowledge keeper/sharer, Jeff is a member of Kun’tewiktuk Singers and Sons of Membertou & Thunder Eagle Singers, who has been dancing, drumming and performing his way into people’s hearts since he was a child. Jeff is a Lodge keeper, drum keeper/maker, conductor of ceremonies, and involved in talking and justice circles. He is a General Manager of Membertou Heritage park, Director of Community Culture and Heritage for Wagmatcook First Nation and a leader in the White Eagle Sundance.

Denise John is a proud L’nu dancer, community worker and victim support navigator from Mi’kma’ki Miawpukek (Conne River) Newfoundland who is passionate about learning, preserving culture and honoring elders and knowledge sharers.

Prismatic and Halifax Shopping Centre invites the greater Halifax community to join us in honoring Indigenous artists and Artists of color. The Prismatic Arts Festival dates for the 2024 season are September 26th – October 6th. Check out our line up of incredibly talented artists!
