Managing Producer
Kelly Li
Kelly Li is an arts administrator and maker based in Kjipuktuk (colonially known as Halifax, Nova Scotia), which is part of Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral home and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq.
Kelly is the Managing Producer at the Prismatic Arts Festival. She is honoured to work each day in support of professional Indigenous artists and artists of colour and is nourished by the vast creativity and profound expression found in their work.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Media Studies from Dalhousie University, Kelly loves film theory and production in equal measure. She previously worked in Nova Scotia’s film and television industry, and is currently a programmer at the Halifax Independent Filmmakers Festival.
At home, Kelly shares her life with her partner, Aidan, and their cat, Horatio. She can often be found drawing, printmaking, bookbinding, cooking, or tinkering.
