There are lots of FREE events to enjoy at Prismatic 2021 – Prismatic is Art for Everyone!

Accessibility

Art for Everyone!

Prismatic is committed to making its events and performances accessible to all members of the community.

This means that we:

  • Select venues that have accessible entrances and washrooms.
  • Welcome service animals and personal support workers to performances and events.
  • Work with artists to provide captioning, ASL, written and audio descriptions of performances, when possible.
  • Provide ASL interpretations or captioning at significant Prismatic events and activities.

Prismatic wants everyone to be able to engage with the artists and their work. If you have any specific access needs or concerns, please reach out. Prismatic prioritizes making spaces more welcoming and accessible for all, and we would like to work with you to best support your Festival experience.

Please feel free to approach our volunteers anytime for help or with any requests that would improve your access to the event. Our volunteers will be wearing Prismatic Volunteer pins, and there will be a volunteer stationed at each entrance.

To get in touch, please email us at hannah@prismaticfestival.com or call or text us at 902-425-6812.

Please note that masks are mandated for all spectators at indoor events, and strongly encouraged at outdoor events by recommendation of Public Health.

Please remember to provide respectful distance, especially when outdoors or among large crowds.

Please do not attend in-person events if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, but feel free to check out our virtual offerings!
