This means that we:
- Strive to prioritize venues that have accessible entrances and washrooms.
- Welcome service animals and personal support workers to performances and events.
- Are committed to working intentionally with artists and communities to provide ASL interpretation, captioning, written and audio descriptions of performances, when possible.
- Will be providing ASL interpretation at The Griot In You: Poetry Writing Workshop with Guyleigh Johnson and Sameer Farooq’s The Fairest Order in the World (opening artist reception).
- Provide items and options at the Front of House that support positive sensory experiences including balloons, ear plugs, sunglasses, and quiet spaces.
- Have assistive listening devices available at all events taking place at Alderney Landing Theatre. If you would like to use this service, please let the Front of House know upon your arrival.
